Reiki Energy Healing
Everyone has the ability to heal themselves and help others in their healing process. Universal energy flows through all of us. However, this flow of energy can become blocked during periods of stress and illness (dis-ease). Reiki is an exceptionally simple yet powerful system of healing, which can remove these blockages and restore the flow of energy and balance to all aspects of our being (mind, body, and spirit). The spirit of reiki can lead you into a journey of spiritual exploration and self-discovery. This inspiring force can empower you to feel as an emotional being, to respond to situations creatively, and to act throughout your life as a force for the good.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words “Rei” meaning Universal Life and “Ki” meaning energy. Pronounced “ray-key”.
Reiki is a simple, safe, Japanese holistic healing system that works to create balance and promote natural healing at all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It meets you exactly where you are on your healing journey to further your personal growth.

Distance Reiki is based on the belief that energy is not limited by physical space or time. Because Reiki works with your energetic system rather than through physical touch alone, a session can be offered whether you are in the same room as your practitioner or connecting from somewhere else.
During a distance Reiki session, I use focused intention, intuition, and energetic connection to tune into your energy, identify areas that may feel blocked or out of balance, and direct Reiki where it is most needed. The session includes the same energetic healing, chakra and auric reading, spiritual guidance, and personalized support as an in-person session.
One of the greatest benefits of distance Reiki is that you can receive the session from the comfort of your own home. There is no commute or need to rush afterward, allowing you to remain in a peaceful, grounded state for as long as you need. You do not have to fully understand Reiki or have any previous experience to receive it—simply come with an open mind and allow yourself to relax.
Session is held virtually via GoogleMeet.

Everyone experiences Reiki differently. You may feel warmth, tingling, gentle pressure, emotional release, deep relaxation, or simply a sense of calm. Some people may feel very little or possibly nothing during the session but may notice shifts afterward. Regardless of your energetic awareness, you will receive exactly what you need.

I'll never tell someone how much healing they need, that's a personal decision only you can make. While there is no specific number of sessions that's right for everyone, some people benefit from a single session, while others choose to receive Reiki regularly for ongoing emotional, energetic, and spiritual support. Like most things that support your holistic well-being, the more consistently you receive Reiki, the greater the benefits can be and the more noticeable the shifts tend to become.

Yes! Reiki has been studied scientifically, although the evidence is still developing. Some clinical studies and reviews suggest it may help reduce anxiety, stress, depression, and pain, while supporting relaxation and overall well-being. However, researchers note that more large, high-quality studies are still needed.
The University of Minnesota’s Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing explains that some researchers theorize Reiki may help balance the biofield, described as the vibrational energy field believed to surround and move through the body. Similar concepts are also found in practices such as acupuncture, qigong, shiatsu, yoga, and pranayama.
Science has not yet confirmed exactly how Reiki works or verified the existence of a measurable Reiki energy field. For this reason, Reiki is best used as a complementary wellness practice alongside, not in place of, medical or mental-health care.

There isn't much you need to do to prepare, but these simple recommendations can help you get the most out of your session:
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session.
Eat and stay hydrated, but avoid a heavy meal beforehand. Bring a water bottle with you.
Wear loose, comfortable, breathable clothing so you can fully relax.
Take a few moments to reflect on your intention. What are you hoping to release, heal, or gain from your session?
If you're receiving a distance Reiki session, find a quiet, comfortable space where you can lie down without being disturbed. Headphones, an eye mask, and cozy blankets are encouraged to help you fully relax and immerse yourself in the experience.
Most importantly, come with an open mind and without expectations. Reiki meets you exactly where you are and supports what your mind, body, and spirit need most in that moment.

Healing doesn't stop when the session ends. I often provide personalized homework based on your energetic needs to help you continue supporting your self-healing and integrating what came through during the session.
Every experience is unique. Many people leave feeling deeply relaxed, lighter, more grounded, or emotionally clear. Others feel more energized, inspired, activated, or deeply connected to their higher self. Some people notice subtle shifts immediately, while others experience changes over the following days as their mind, body, and spirit continue to integrate the healing.
I always recommend drinking plenty of water, getting extra rest if you feel called to, and paying attention to any insights, emotions, dreams, or synchronicities that arise. Journaling after your session can also be incredibly valuable, as it allows you to reflect on the guidance you received and notice patterns or shifts that unfold over time.

Ultimately, no. You don't need to have any prior experience or even fully understand Reiki in order to receive a session. Many of my clients book simply because they're curious.
That said, coming with an open mind and an open heart can help you relax into the experience and receive whatever the session has to offer. Belief or complete understanding isn't required—just a willingness to show up for yourself and your healing journey.
