​Since my adolescence, I've grappled with the weight of anxiety and depression, finding solace in unhealthy coping mechanisms​, like alcohol and drugs. But waking up in the hospital one October day in 2016 was a pivotal moment. Seeking support from a holistic psychiatrist and life coach, I discovered the transformative power of meditation and the mind-body connection. Through therapy, self-help literature, and consistent Reiki sessions, I slowly found my footing on the path to healing. Enrolling in yoga teacher training introduced me to the contemplative practice of Yin yoga, which resonated deeply with me. As I shared this practice with others, I felt a calling to delve deeper into Reiki, embarking on a four-year journey to become a Reiki Master Teacher. It was a challenging yet rewarding process, forcing me to confront my deepest wounds and shadows. Yet despite feeling stable, the upheaval of the world in 2020 took its toll, leaving me in need of additional support. Discovering breathwork was like finding a beacon of light in the darkness. After just one session, I felt lighter and more at peace than I had in years. Since then, I've dedicated myself to sharing this powerful healing modality with others, knowing firsthand the transformative impact it can have. Through my own journey, I've come to understand the struggles and challenges that accompany the path to healing. I know that it's not easy, and it's okay to stumble along the way. As both a student and a teacher of life, I offer compassion and understanding to all who are on their own journey of self-healing, knowing that we are all in this together.
